How To Use This Calculator

Enter the beneficiary's family net income and the contribution planned for this year.

The Canada Disability Savings Grant matches contributions at up to 300%, using 2026's official indexed income thresholds. The Canada Disability Savings Bond pays out based on income alone, with no contribution required at all for lower-income beneficiaries.

Your Inputs

The beneficiary must be approved for the Disability Tax Credit to open an RDSP at all. Grants stop being paid after the year the beneficiary turns 49, and any grants or bonds received in the prior 10 years must be repaid if the plan is closed or a large withdrawal is made.
